Select the rise that best matches how you usually wear your trousers. High-rise pants sit closer to your natural waist, mid-rise pants sit around the waistline, and low-rise pants sit lower on the hips. This helps estimate how long your tie should be to reach your belt line properly.
A properly tied necktie should usually end right around the top of your belt buckle or waistband. If the tie falls too far above or below that point, it may look either too short or too long for your proportions.
